ARTICLE II - Purpose

The elimination of public assistance fraud by the active participation of a group of persons and agencies concerned with the detection, elimination and prosecution of those who gain, or assist those who gain by fraudulent acts. This Association is dedicated to:

A) Provide education, training and staff development relating to fraud by the discussion of laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures being used in various states and agencies.

B) Promoting efficient and effective means to prevent, detect, eliminate and prosecute fraudulent activities.

C) Disseminating information reflecting accurately the nature and the extent of fraud to the media or governmental agencies.

D) Disseminating the Association's views to governmental agencies, legislature and media on the existing or proposed rules and laws and their effect on the prevention, elimination and prosecution of fraud.
