Annual Training Seminar and Conference
Each year MFIA sponsors two training seminars for its members. These
seminars are held in rural Minnesota during spring and in
the Metro area during the fall. The seminars are designed to provide
training for investigators, prosecutors, collections and claims
staff, and administrators on the latest techniques in the prevention,
detection, and prosecution of welfare fraud and in the administration
of welfare fraud programs.
The United Council of Welfare Fraud conducts on
4 day conference each year in the Fall.
All three training events
qualify for continuing education credits for UCOWF and the State
training will provide continuing education credits for Law Enforcement!
